How many people will be at these events?

Our first two trips had 33 and 43 people! The minimum to make any trip happen will be 25.

Will there be dietary accommodations?

We will do our best to accommodate major dietary needs (not preferences) and allergies. You will be able to indicate these on your registration form and we will do what we can to keep you safe!

Does each trip cost the same to attend?

No. Each trip has a different registration cost depending on a lot of factors. It depends on the location, duration of the trip (2, 3 or 4 days), number and types of activities, etc. There is an early bird discount for each trip so keep an eye out for those specific dates.

I have a shop, can I sell merch at this event?

Yes! On the last day there is an opportunity in the schedule to put out your merch at a vendor table for others to see and buy. Anyone interested in selling merch must be registered for the full event and you will have to fill out an agreement that you will not sell anything that infringes on copyright from HeR Interactive or anyone else. It is your responsibility and will not be monitored by the host.

I sell merch but I can't attend, can I sponsor the event?

Yes! You can donate merch as prizes or small items for the goodie bags. Make sure to include business cards and info for where people can buy your products! :)

Is transportation provided?

Transportation is not provided at any time during any events or getting to the events. You can indicate on your registration form if you are interested in carpooling with other attendees. The hosts can put people in contact with each other but specifics are not coordinated by the hosts.

Is it kid friendly?

Due to liability, people under 18 are not permitted.

Ideas for how to afford this?

Trips are announced over a year in advance so you can save over time and space out the costs associated! Registration cost is due at the time you register to save your spot. However you can wait to book your lodging and transportation (ie plane tickets if necessary) until closer to the time if that helps. 

 

When is registration payment due?

You will be sent a payment request from PayPal within 24 hours of registering for the event. Your payment is due on receipt. Your place is not guaranteed until you have completed payment.

Can you share more about what it will be like?

These trips have multiple days and each day there are themed activities scheduled. There is also free time built into the schedule to rest or explore the area if you want to! Each event is different so be sure to look at the lists of activities to see which trips sounds like the most fun to you!

​Will there be any cosplay at this event?

YES! On the last night people are encouraged, but not required, to come dressed up as a character from a Nancy Drew book or game.

What is the lodging situation?

You will need to book your own lodging and everyone does not need to stay at the same location. There is always a list of suggested hotels for each trip so you know the general area where we will be. Where you stay though is up to you to determine the best accommodation for your needs and budget.

Should I replay the game or read the book before the event?

Yes! Definitely would recommend that but isn't required.
