Location info for Pennsylvania

The location for this trip is the general area of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and of course Moon Lake!

 

"Headquarters"

Our opening and closing events will be held at a hotel within 10 min of the Wyoming Valley Mall. There will also be a room block link for this hotel if you would like to book your own room there. You are not required to stay at any particular hotel and there are 15+ hotels very close to the mall so feel free to stay anywhere in the general area. The specific hotel our events will be at will be sent in the confirmation email to people AFTER they have registered and paid. This is for the privacy and safety of the group.

Driving

This trip is very outdoor focused which will be awesome! That being said it will require some driving to get to all the various activities. If you stay near the mall the opening and closing events won't be too far. Depending on which hotel you choose Moon Lake and the lake we are boating on are both ~20-25 away, and the bird sanctuary is about 1 hr 10 minutes away.

 

Carpooling

The private trip Discord will have a thread designated for carpooling if people are interested in carpooling between activities with other attendees. Please note that wanting to carpool does not guarantee that you will find someone to carpool with. The hosts do not coordinate this.
